Join the resistance!

We are gathering in creative community to move the energy with creative expression.

We are engaging in creative expression as an act of resistance against the forces that want to keep us scared and despairing, paralyzed and silent.

CREATIVE RESISTANCE is a monthly virtual gathering on Zoom where we learn new simple techniques, create something out of nothing, and notice what is coming up during the creative process. After spending some time creating in community, we’ll close our sessions with optional witnessing of our creations. In the words of one of our community, “It works!”

We meet on Saturdays on Zoom on Saturday from 11:00 - 12:30 eastern.

Choose the dates that work for you for $10 each.

The creative muse will be in charge of planning the themes for each session, but to give you a sense of what we’ll be creating, these are some of the techniques we explored in past sessions: we pounded clay, tore paper to make collages, painted graffiti, doodled mindfully and drew wonky mandalas. We may weave in some seasonal festivities, and have guest artists bring their magic, as well.

Here are the dates for our CREATIVE RESISTANCE sessions:

February 14: A love letter to you!

March 14: Finding Your Balance at the Spring Equinox

April 18: Clay as Catharsis

May 9: TBD

June 13: TBD

July 18: TBD

August 15: TBD

September 19: TBD

October 17: TBD

Each session is limited to 12 participants.

Note: The sessions will not be recorded in order to maintain a confidential and safe space.

After you make your choice, find the cart icon in the top right corner on a personal computer or at the bottom of your phone screen. From there, you can proceed with your payment options.

After you check out, I’ll send you a welcome email letting you know what to expect and a supplies list.

I’ll send you the Zoom link the day before each session.

The images that accompany each session description are samples of previous work I’ve done using the techniques I’ll be demonstrating. You are invited to follow your own creative muse during each session.

One more thing: I am not your therapist! I’m an artist and a spiritual director. Our Creative Resistance sessions are not therapy. They are intended to help you express yourself through art materials in a supportive community.
